Tré Armstrong is a dancer, a choreographer, and an actress.

Tre’s early dance schooling (age five) in ballet, tap and jazz technique is what has shaped her into who she is today. She has appeared on Top O the Pops, Canadian Idol, BET’s 106 & Park and The MTV Video Music Awards. Celebrities Armstrong has worked with include: Rihanna, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kreesha Turner, Jay-Z, Hilary Duff and Missy Elliott.

Tré has performed in multiple feature films, award shows, reality-based television shows, and all across the United States, Canada, St. Kitts, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Japan.

Choreography credits include:

  • “A Raisin in the Sun” (ABC 2008 MOW) – Executively Produced by and starring Sean “Diddy” Combs, Phylicia Rashad, Sanaa Lathan, Audra Macdonald, John Stamos
  • “Repo: the Genetic Opera” – Feature Film directed by Darren Bousman, the director of Saw II, III & IV

She has appeared on TOP O THE POPS, CANADIAN IDOL, BET’s 106 & PARK and The MTV Video Music Awards. Celebrities Armstrong has worked with (but not limited to) include: Rihanna, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kreesha Turner, Jay-Z, Hillary Duff and Missy Elliot. Armstrong’s feature role in the internationally-acclaimed documentary Breakin’ In: The Making of a Hip Hop Dancer highlighted her as one of Canada’s top rising stars.

This lead to her acting debut as Candy in Save the Last Dance 2. You can see Armstrong as Michelle, lead actress in the MTV/Paramount dance feature, and Sundance Film Festival smash hit, How She Move. Currently, Armstrong is choreographing MTV’s TURN THE BEAT AROUND featuring Season 1 dancers Romina D’Ugo, Miles Faber and Natalli Reznik. Known for her honest critiques, this judge will always tell it like it is.
