Meet Bel & Jess - A Mum & daughter duo
Hi, I’m Belinda – a dance mum and lover of all things sparkly! I enrolled my daughter, Jess, into baby ballet at 3 years old and she’s been dancing ever since. Dance means costumes. Eisteddfods, concerts, solos, duos, small groups. Our spare room became filled with cherished yet discarded dance costumes.
Then, Jessica, now thirteen years old, proposed a solution: create a website dedicated to selling these costumes. We can recoup expenses and give them new life with other dancers, all while helping people save money! After thorough research, we realised there wasn’t a platform for reselling these valuable costumes. That’s when ReDance was born. It’s a bespoke website where preloved costumes from various disciplines can be easily uploaded and sold directly to interested customers, like eBay or Etsy but exclusively for costumes.
We’re excited to enable others to recoup their investments and encourage buying preloved costumes. We aim to provide an enjoyable experience that empowers dance mums to have a simple side hustle, makes costumes more affordable, and promotes environmental sustainability by encouraging dancers to ReDuce, ReUse, ReCycle and ReDance.
