REGISTER AS A VENDOR
Your first step is to create an account with ReDance and register as a vendor. You can do that HERE.
CONNECT YOUR STRIPE ACCOUNT
To ensure you get paid when you sell an item you will need to have a Stripe Account. This is a secure payment platform that will protect both the buyer and the selling. You will not be able to sell anything until you have connect your account.
SET UP YOUR STORE
Your next step is to set up your store. Follow the tabs in your dashboard to set up your shop details, shipping costs and any customisation. You an be as creative as you like.

MEMBERSHIPS
ReDance allows you to add 15 products per months to your store absolutely free. If you would like to add more products then check out our memberships to save.

What is ReDance and how does it work?
ReDance is an online platform that allows users to buy and sell (new and used) dance-related items such as costumes, shoes, and accessories. Sellers can list their items for free and pay a 20% commission fee on each sale. Buyers can browse and purchase items directly through the platform.
Do I need a membership to use ReDance?
No, you do not need a membership to use ReDance. You can start listing up 15 items per month without any subscription fees. However, if you become a member, you can enjoy benefits such as reduced commission fees and additional perks. You can learn more about our membership options on our website.
Are the items sold on ReDance new or used?
While ReDance is primarily a marketplace for second-hand items, we also feature new items in our stores.
Our platform provides an eco-friendly and budget-friendly shopping experience for buyers seeking dance and gymnastics wear. We ensure transparency by clearly labelling items as either new or pre-loved.

What payment methods do you accept?
Our exclusive payment method is Stripe, a trusted and secure payment gateway. Stripe facilitates payments from the following sources:

How will my items be shipped?
Sellers are responsible for managing the shipping process, and we encourage them to ship sold items within 24-48 hours after receiving payment. The shipping costs are determined by the seller. Shipping is available throughout Australia.
ReDance offers optional insurance through Ship Safely, which buyers can add for additional security.
Please note that ReDance cannot assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. If you have purchased Ship Safely you make a claim HERE.
How do I list an item for sale?
To list an item on ReDance, simply create an account and register as a vendor. Fill out the necessary information to set up your store, including connecting a Stripe Account for payments. Next you'll be about to about a product, including its title, description, price, and any additional details. You can also upload photos to showcase your item. Once your listing is complete, it will be visible to potential buyers. For more details instructions visit our Help Centre.
How do I connect a Stripe Account?
From your ReDance store dashboard, you can seamlessly connect your Stripe account by following these steps:
For Existing Stripe Users:
- Click on the blue Connect with Strip button.
- Enter your email address.
- Select your existing Stripe account and click continue.
- Enter your password and the 2FA code sent to you for verification.
You will then be redirected to your ReDance dashboard. Your Stripe account is now connected, and you're ready to list your first item for sale.
For New Stripe Users:
If you don't have a Stripe account, you can easily create one by following these simple instructions:
- Click on the blue 'Connect with Stripe' button
- Enter your email address and click continue
- Enter a password and click continue
- Enter your phone number (so that Stripe can verify that you are a real person and keep your account safe and secure).
- You will receive a 6-digit code sent to your phone number which you must enter here.
- Stripe will then give you a special code for you to copy and keep somewhere safe. Make sure you do this. (This is just a secure way of getting into your account if your device is ever lost or stolen). Press continue.
- Select your business location as Australia.
- Your type of business is Individual/Sole Trader (unless you are a registered business).
- Select if you have an ABN (if unsure, select no).
- Enter your personal details
- Select your industry (clothing and accessories), and website (you can use http://www.redance.com.au as this is where you will be selling from), and provide a product description (e.g. pre-loved dancewear).
- Add your bank account details.
- Continue with all steps until your account is created.
You will then be redirected to your ReDance dashboard. Your Stripe account is now connected, and you're ready to list your first item for sale.
Remember, this setup only needs to be done once!
When do I ship an item after it has been sold?
Once a sale is confirmed, it means the money leaves the account of the buyer and goes to Stripe (the system we use for processing payments). Stripe then connects the buyer and the seller's accounts and sends the money to you. For the first time around this can take up to 10 working days. After your first sale, you will be paid faster.
Once a sale is confirmed, you can go ahead and ship your item or get it collected because this means that the money is already with Stripe and on its way to you.
The email notification you receive called Sale confirmation is proof that the buyer has paid for your item
We encourage you to ship your items within 24-48 hours after confirmation of sale.
How and when will I be paid?
We use Stripe to ensure that all transactions are as secure as possible. Stripe is one of the top, secure systems for online payment in the world. Sometimes there are delays in the transfer, but you should receive your payment within 10 working days (weekends don’t count).
Stripe says: The first-ever payout will always take longer as the banks are lining up their details and getting everything sorted. Unfortunately, this is due to the negotiations we currently have with Australian banks - we are working on improving it and renegotiating, of course.
We will be notified if there is an issue with Stripe, and if so, we will let you know. Please contact us if you have any queries, and we will do our best to help you out.
What commission do you charge to sell on ReDance?
For each sale made on ReDance, a 20% commission fee will be deducted. This fee covers the cost of maintaining the platform, payment processing, and customer support.
You can reduce the amount of commission charged by upgrading to one of our membership plans.
Our Premium Plan allows you to list up to 50 items per month with a commission charge of 15% per sale.
Our ElitePlan allows unlimited listings per month with a commission charge of 10% per sale.
